D SMOKE - BLACK HABITS (Official Discussion)
« on: February 24, 2020, 12:04:10 PM »
hey people, are we sure here is a forum based on west coast hip hop?

this boy called D Smoke is from inglewood, who is winner of 1st rhytm and flow contest. (i'm sure everybody knows actually who d smoke is, what i don't understand how come you ignore his debut album which is damn fire)

he released his anticipated debut album "Black Habits"

i loved it. i loved it from start to end. really no tracks to skip and there are some incredible productions and songs. one of em belongs to battlecat. i don't know bout others, credits havent told yet.

so i really want to talk about this album. because i believe this is something new, something i'm expecting to be a pioneer for future of west coast hip hop sound. because it really sounds mainstream, besides that its combined with west coast flavor, funk and jazz... i loved the way it sounds and i wish it can shape the new era of west coast hip hop.

here is the Tracklist

1. Morning Prayer
2. Bullies
3. No Commas
4. Gaspar Yanga f. Snoop Dogg
5. Top of the Morning
6. Sunkissed Child f. Jill Scott & Iguocho
7. Black Habits I f. Jackie Gouche
8. Fly f. Davion Farris
9. Seasons Pass
10. Fallin’
11. Lights On f. SiR
12. Real Body f. Ari Lennox
13. Free
14. Like My Daddy
15. Closer to God f. SiR
16. Black Habits II
