Queensbridge vs. The Bay
« on: March 01, 2021, 12:44:54 AM »
...I don't want to change thread topics so I started a new topic here.

Okay, I will take just one single borough of New York and stack it up against your list

Nas > Too Short
Slick Rick > E-40
Mob Deep > Digital Underground
50 Cent > Spice 1
Lost Boyz > Luniz
Noreaga > C-Bo
LL Cool J > Nickatina

^^The above is undebatable^^

Pharoah Monch > Jacka
Lloyd Banks > Mac Dre
Canibus > Brotha Lynch

^^Only these you can debate ^^

Now how does that stack up?

the fact that you put lloyd banks > mac dre makes your thread embarrassing, and that’s putting it nicely

u have no knowledge of bay rap so you shouldn’t really make threads like this homie

let’s keep it simple .. if u a real head and you prefer that west coast flavor in your music then u will unequivocally prefer the bay

if u a casual wit limited understanding of bay knowledge (such as the ties between mob music and g-funk), then you’ll obviously pick queensbridge, because that’s the more commercially relevant region

u claim to be such a big pac groupie .. then u should know what pac would pick. as you know, pac himself said he got all his game from the bay.

this is your prophet. listen to him.

I said the few at the bottom were debateable... but the top of the list was undebateable.  Who can you debate from the several of the top??   ... I'll wait...

You have a point with your first three and honestly E40 vs Slick Rick is close but I’d go with 40. Much deeper catalogue

Banks over Dre?
Canibus over lynch?

Nahhhhh

LL a legend but I prefer Nickatinas catalogue

50 Cent over Spice 1 seems like an obvious one too

I think you mean the borough of Queens, Queensbridge is basically the projects that are under the QUeensborough bridge

I would think it would be pretty hard to form an opinion then

Yep. Only one rapper on that list is from QB and that's Nas. Slick Rick is not even from Queens.
