You understand the west coast has a sound right? West coast has always had more melodic funk based beats that evolved into g funk and grew from there.  NYC has always had a more rough cold boom bap sound not as melodic. Compare The Chronic to 36 Chambers. How do you not get that? Now which one of those albums does Dialated sound more like? 

Alchemist beats were sampling Mobb deep and doing the same type of things east coast oroducers we’re doing. Simple as that.

muggs favors more of a boom bap generius sound, which originated in new york big city of dreams

although muggs does incorporate more west coast generius elements than alchemist

i’m not the authority on west side usa culture but if i tell you something regarding west side usa culture then there should be enough of a respect not to argue that as an outsider
