If you actually paid attention to the talking you would see how MUCH the movie was about. The heavy doses of spiritualism and philosphy, the metaphoric symbolism, everything from the colour of morpheus's clothes, to the candy, to the crows, even to Smith's whole name represented something. Heck, it could even be percieved as the mathematical universe where mathematics is the self-ordering consciousness of the universe and this could be ultimately be the story of a lonely little spontaneously generated program called 'choice' who just happened to have a profoundly damaging effect on the balanced universe of the system in spite of its relative insignifigance and it's struggle to survive in spite of all efforts of the universal system to correct itself. It can represent the hyperreality engulfing us, through economic and political systems, through the media in general and through advertising specifically. The question of choice, fate, and highly debated concept of freewill. If you really think you understood the whole movie and still think its pointless, headover to Immortal Tech's thread about Matrix Reloaded and try answering some of my questions and doubts. It's just a brilliant movie! I've head a few negative reviews Jome, but 99% of these reviews origninate from ignorance towards the movie's symbolic meaning and the complex mosiac of it's puzzling storyline. Let me tell you this, if you are interested in spiritualty, philosphy, intelligence, action and indepth and complex storylines, this is the movie for you. The amazing direction and choreography will have you in awe, the cliffhanger at the end could piss you off, but also build up your desire to see Matrix Revolutions. Peace -{bLaDe}LoL, I have to read the first part another day when I'm in "the zone"..Movie sounds coo though.. just a few days now..
