I get where Jay z haters are coming from but I’ve just always been a fan since I bought hard knock life vol 2 in 98. DMX and Jay z were dominating at the time. The other wave was Cash Money which I wasn’t a big fan of at the time but I listened to those albums in the early 2010s and really appreciated them. Kinda like B movies in Hollywood. Nothing fancy with a huge budget but there are elements that can be appreciated
