sure we all have our opinions and we all have different tastes. for example i never been a fan of "gkmc", but i like "to pimp a butterfly" a lot... i'm still not sure about if i like "damn." or not, can't decide it yet. but this mr moral fucked my mind up! :) hook? mostly i'm in love with hooks of the album and rnb vocal harmonies written so geniusly... die hard, father time, count me out, silent hill, mirrors.... very very good hooks, memorable and catchy.

i believe this album will be considered his masterpiece in future. today's mainstream music perception was not ready to hear this but i believe this kind of albums will change this perception.

the only real hook that i see as catchy and something that could resonate wit the masses is silent hill

the rest might be musically, artistically, and sonically dope, but pretty forgettable if we bein honest

respect your opinion. i can't keep myself repeating the choruses and bridges all day long. seems like this one is made for me especially :)

yes, this album is not a mainstream entertainer. but i also believe black comunity of america didnt enjoy the way Kendrick criticize his own people with very harsh truths while they were waiting for smth to entertain :) the common message of the whole album is "dont be a tap dancer, stop tap dancing around the problems and have some moral clarity"... only kendrick would do smth like that i think, it made me respect him more, i don't care if this album sells less, it's going to be counted as his masterpiece in future.

Tyler explained it well.

he doesn't mean that actually. i never been a kendrick fan but after two or three spins i though this album is great already, after a dozen i was already thinking its kendrick's opus magnum.
