Author Topic: Fiend: Snoop Said That Make Em Say Ugh Is Hard! I Want A Song Like That! Woof!  (Read 807 times)

Make em say ugh is a hit and classic. Most of the artist on the track are legends. If anything Snoop is the nursery rhyme rapper who got carried by top production and marketing at DR.

Yep. Snoop has ZERO Lyrics.

Even Pac was 100 x more "Lyrical" than Snoop will ever be or was.

The whole album is a classic. Snoop's best album after "Doggystyle".  I still think Meech Wells is one of the dopest producers Snoop ever collaborated with.

Agreed %100

Dre just made the smash hit for NLTD... meech's flavor is all over the album from start to end.

Pac never wrote a "Deep Cover" or a "Murder Was The Case".

Big Boy as a label was heavily G:Funk due to Ice Precise's production. There was a Crip element as well and they wore locs and flannels. At one point you would have thought they was from the west coast.

Mystikal put out some music when he signed to Cash Money after he got out.

I never said that album dropped while he was on NL. I was just pointing out that he wasn't d-list based on the caliber of music he can make. Neither was Mia X or Fiend.

no limit was C-List as a label

mystikal’s music took a slight hit when he signed wit them

mystikal himself is not a C-List rapper tho

but the books been out on No Limit .. a lot of the music was rushed and released prior to being fully mixed, because Master P was more concerned with meeting deadlines than putting a good product out.

Lots of talent there though. Mystikal, Mia X, Fiend, Mr. Magic and Mac. Mac often gets compared to Nas. The same argument you made could be applied to any label. Not everyone can be a star.

P rushed Mystikal's second album which i felt was dumb. It's still decent tho.

P gets way to much credit in hip hop. Yet in still aside from DR it is the most talked about label ever to this day.
