Girls I knew from the time I was born until now in order
« on: April 12, 2022, 03:13:53 PM »
Girl 1:  Name unkown

f I could explain the feeling
And put it into words
Around the rhyme Biz Markie sang “girls, girls, girls”
Must of been 86 or 87’
And I was only 4 or 5
Who was the first girl
You ever met
Though many have passed
The very first set of eyes
With lashes that fastened
And were fixed upon
Other than your mom
Aunt, and so on
The first girl you ever looked upon
In that way
If I could describe that day
What would I say

Chorus:

The first girl you ever knew
Was it at the age of 2
Or was you 4, 5, or 6
Who was the first
That could exist
In your realm in your eyes
Remember the day
If I wrote about that first girl
What would I say

Verse 2:

I remember her house it was at the edge of the street
Her room was behind the hedges
But how would I meet
My older brother got me invited in
Under her ceiling fan I sat
And watched it spin
A pendent on the wall
Royals 1985’ championship
A baseball ⚾️ card said “Dick Howser”
Head of Royals management
We looked thru her room to see her stuff
My brother must of made fun
But just to be there for me was enough
She had simple blonde hair short and straight
We sat patient because I could wait
And sit there quiet as my brother talked obnoxious
I thought girls were the nice ones to be honest
She priceless I never knew it was that way
On the other side of the tracks

Chorus:  (take it back)

Verse 3:

And that’s the story of the first girl I ever knew
She was quiet, composed and looked perfectly cute
Nothing too much and all in perfect proportion
I sat there that day within her room
Just lucky to be there the first girl
That I ever knew
The girl on the corner
And that’s all I knew
That’s all it was just that day
And that short story and visit to see her stuff
Some baseball cards, posters, and bubble gum stuff
That’s what it was but it’s in this verse
Of all the girls I’ve ever known
She was the first

Abbey #2 girl I ever knew

Verse 1:

My day care school girl
I was 5 or maybe only 4
We used to go to day care
at a church named Red Door
We used to take field trips
and Michael didn't act proper
said he was a helicopter
and hit you or Heather
with his bag
I can't remember whether
it was you or some girl named heather
I do remember your hair was burnett
and you were perfect to my eyes
but you were 4 and I was 5
So I was an older guy

Chorus:

Day Care dreams,
and field trips
helicopter, and GI Joe's
where did we go that day
wherever it was I don't know
I'd go anywhere with you
Abbey Biando--the second girl I ever knew

Verse 2:

Verse 2, was how you showed us your shoe
the only time I remember talking to you
Michael wasn't proper, was he Chinese?
I don't remember but somehow he sees
your brown shoe bottom like peanut butter
he shouts it out to us on the bus in wonder
"Show us your shoe, it's peanut butter!"
he laughs, and can we eat it?
It did actually look like peanut butter
but whatever I just needed
A chance to glance at the second girl
that I ever saw in my life
I would of married you that day
and made you into my wife

Chorus:

Last Verse:

Listening to Michael Jackson
Man on the Mirror we cheered
as the wheels on the bus
went round and round
round and round, round and round
Your hair was burnett I can't forget
and you were my brown eyed girl
I remember how we used to sing
Michael Jackson on the bus
Talking to the man in the mirror
or the girl named Abbey in the next seat over
She had butter on her shoe
and that's all I knew of her
