CDs pre-order are up, 60$ thanks but no thanks.
nobody buys musicmaking music is literally a non-profit job if you’re not with a major label or touring like crazy nowadayscan u blame them?we droppin fatlip album at $20 let’s see how many of y’all complaining bout price tags actually support us at a reasonable price
10-12$ is a reasonable price...If its 20 than ok i buy it.But more?! That is hustlin.
Seems like there are several factors that would have to be considered, no? If you're established and independent, selling cd's, vinyl, or digital mp3's probably yield higher profit than on a major.Similar for new artists but far more work has to be completed to get their name out. A significant amount of small venue touring.Paying $20-$30 is a hell of a lot more reasonable (new/OG) to pay for music compared to what Kokane and Mount Westmore are doing. Even if MW decides to do a regular release later down the road, this has completely turned me off from their group.
the point is that nobody is buying cds they probably make more money selling a verse or beat than off doing an album and selling it at $20’a pop. trust me, it don’t pay.
