It's a nice attempt, but the phrasing and cadence are jarringly bad in certain spots. It doesn't help that we know this song so well that even the most subtle imperfection is noticeable. It'd probably work better on a less well-known song.

Of course, the holy grail would be to A.I. The Doc's pre-accident voice over some early Death Row beats to give a taste of what could have been.
