Cause he cosinders "Stay Dangerous", "4Real 4Real" and "My Life 4Hunnid" more like retail mixtapes. Makes sense, "My Krazy Life" and "Still Brazy" r way stronger than the last 3.

Did he say that? It amazes me every time an artist does this.

Well, what makes them official albums? The major label? Imo it is whatever or however YG feels like it is since he's the artist and creator  :kanyeshrug: + I remember Jadakiss, Logic, Fabolous and even Drake released retail mixtapes on major labels before. Nothing new really.

Well, what makes them official albums? The major label? Imo it is whatever or however YG feels like it is since he's the artist and creator  :kanyeshrug: + I remember Jadakiss, Logic, Fabolous and even Drake released retail mixtapes on major labels before. Nothing new really.

this is just a marketing tactic imo

stay big debuted at 5 on the billboard charts and had some big financing behind it, including the “big bank” single which was a radio hit. pretty hard to consider that a “mixtape”.

that’s a typo … it’s supposed to say “they weren’t released as mixtapes” .. hence the rest of my post

I gotta listen to Still Brazy I guess..whole joint because "My Krazy Life" was what got me into Newish sound which sometimes are dope

ALBUM is under my expectations. There are a few good joints but overall it's not that good.
