Always been a huge fan of J. Flexx. He wrote some classic verses. I wish people would ask him about his unreleased Death Row album.

one thing I will say is I didn't really feel Dre's unreleased "California Love" 2nd verse but maybe because Pac's verse fit the beat like a glove

I've never understood why they had a megaton bomb of a single and put the lesser remix on Pac's album instead.  What was the reason for this?
"Detox" is a myth -- Bigfoot, Loch Ness Monster, Area 51, Iraq having WMD, Detox...you get it now?  It was invented by the Aftermath marketing department to maintain the fans' attention.  Notice how everytime a new Aftermath album is ready to come out, they always mention Detox is next up?  Because they are using the invention of "Detox" as a way to market other albums.  The sooner you realize that Detox is NOT REAL, the sooner you'll feel liberated.  Oh yeah, f.u. Aftermath for fooling us fans.

who knows why they didn’t put it on the US version…instead they later released it on the “How Do U Want It” single which also contained “Hit Em Up”

It was released as a single in '95 too.

I have a feeling Suge didn't wanna add it to the album so people had to cop the single? He did somethin' similar with the "Greatest Hits".

Yeah true, but he loses some points for that Death Row's Greatest hits tracks "Who's Been There/Who's Done That" where he dissed Dre after Dre put him on.

But yeah, the man is a genius writer.  "Been There Done That" was so far ahead of it's time when it dropped, we stuck around for Illuminati and got caught up...and a lot like "New York, New York" East Coast heads saying the West had no lyrics and what not got fuccin served on that shit
