The whole dubb union group and then the off the porch album and then just gave up music? Anyone know - did something happen to him? Off the Porch was 2015 I think.

I think he goes by his full name Damani Nkosi now, He had an album during Covid time with Ill Camille called "Harriet" which was really good and I bumped regularly during work from home,  Ill Camille i remember when Dubcnn dropped "The Pre write" back in the day as it had Battlecat and Terrance martin production - so i checked it out: https://www.dubcnn.com/mixtapes/illcamille-prewrite/

[Soopafly DPGC]

Soopafly outshined the both of them so hard on the Dub Union project that both those cats pretty much retired from rap, realizing there is no way they could hang with the THE MAN.  They both came across so weak on that album, was a huge wake up call for them.

It’s about time for another Soopafly album. Did Soopafly use to post on this forum? Back in the day. I remember once back when DPGC you know what I’m throwing up dropped and I asked on the forum what he was saying throughout the I’ll beat yo azz song which I thought was just “dogg pg”and he replied saying it was some Japanese war saying or something

It always sounded to me like he was saying "Cool down, B.G.". I remember Soopafly telling Kurupt he wanted to catch the fade with him when the beef was on.
