You should listen to the podcast episode he did on Drink Champs.  He has a lot of stories from the 90's.

Warren G did percussion he played the musical instrument known as the bell and the dun dun dunk sound remastered for the retail version. The weaving sound with the swsshh on the back of the song like tying your shoes - Warren did that sound too for The Chronic. Also, little known fact, he was involved with the production of High Powered on The Chronic without getting credit. Warren and Colin Wolfe did the dun dun dunk sound together because Dr. Dre called them to do it.
