Sad.  RIP.  Lot of G-Funk artists have passed over the past 10-15 years.  It really emphasizes how rough a life many of these guys lived growing up in food deserts and such, leading to medical problems that shortened their life spans.  I guess what I'm really saying is we think these artists are wealthy but nah.  Even with hits like Summertime in the LBC, they still live a life of hardship.  Apparently, C-Knight had diabetes which led to serious medical complications.

RIP to all the homies going through the struggle.

"Detox" is a myth -- Bigfoot, Loch Ness Monster, Area 51, Iraq having WMD, Detox...you get it now?  It was invented by the Aftermath marketing department to maintain the fans' attention.  Notice how everytime a new Aftermath album is ready to come out, they always mention Detox is next up?  Because they are using the invention of "Detox" as a way to market other albums.  The sooner you realize that Detox is NOT REAL, the sooner you'll feel liberated.  Oh yeah, f.u. Aftermath for fooling us fans.

It's true, health is wealth to some extent.  It doesn't matter if you have all the fortune and fame in the world if your overall health ain't right.

RIP C-Knight, that Dove Shack album is an important one in the G-funk sub-genre and I enjoy listening to it every time I break it out.
