I'm stunned Aftermath is releasing an album. Period. But, yeah, what's the second album?
Eminem is releasing this year… hopefully Snoop in 3rd or 4th quarter.
Oh, right. Totally blanked on the new Em album. I'm still doubtful we'll see Snoop this year though.
and that’s snoops fault
Hey Sccit, how do? (Snoops fault )I’m always blaming Dre for that shit out of habit
in the past couple months snoop has released -dj premo single attached to nothing -track wit danny boy attached to nothing -warren track attached to nothing -rushed dogg pound project led by 3 mediocre singles that dropped in 3 consecutive weeks -quickly mixed and mastered dre is more about mystique and concentrated effortssnoop has been spreading himself thin and refusing to focus his energy on one big piece of art (missionary)no bueno
Snoop has so much going on… he is a muthaphuckin hustla - The Voice - new coach this season- Cali to Canada tour- Olympic hosting duties- New gin and juice drink to promote - Daddys Lil Girlz- some type of new business?- New strip club opening with the wifeMissionary is unfortunately at the bottom of his priority list likely. He didn't even mention it in the interview. I really hope it comes out still. Music made him Snoop d o double.ET interview:https://youtu.be/gWfxoFE7edU?si=G5ztxQBF3OsI8IX5
yupbut unfortunately when u spread yourself so thin it reflects on the art and that’s what dre doesn’t vibe with look how big eminem’s album seems in comparisonand that’s because eminem stays quiet until it’s time to dropit builds anticipation and gives more credibility to the art as a concentrated effort
Exactly, this is no news to anyone, Dre knows this is Snoop's way.His hustler ways is how he has survived the game since Dre left him at Deathrow, his hustling got him the bread to be able to to buy Deathrow back and give opportunity for his people to get something from that legacy again. He obviously gave Missionary time, always at Dre's yard with Fredwreck, Dre said album done since, I won't blame Snoop for any delay. Not like Dre called him and he didn't show up.He should keep doing him, worked for him so far, not everyone can work on Dre's time.
Bingo. I'm sure Snoop has done his part for Missionary. He's probably recorded and re-recorded his vocals dozens of times by now. Snoop isn't the same 19 or 20 year old that Dre had control over in the studio in 1990 and 1991. Snoop's 50. He's got other shit going on, outside of Missionary. I personally think it's Dre's obsessive-compulsive perfectionism that's holding this album up. Bare in mind, I'm not saying Snoop isn't spreading himself thin. He is. He's all over everything at all times. But there has to be a happy medium between Dre's approach of spending 6 years on 1 project and Snoop's approach of spending 1 year on 6 projects.
I still think it's part of the plan. MARSHA, Eminem, Snoop theb 50
