Bingo.  I'm sure Snoop has done his part for Missionary.  He's probably recorded and re-recorded his vocals dozens of times by now.  Snoop isn't the same 19 or 20 year old that Dre had control over in the studio in 1990 and 1991.  Snoop's 50.  He's got other shit going on, outside of Missionary.  I personally think it's Dre's obsessive-compulsive perfectionism that's holding this album up.

Bare in mind, I'm not saying Snoop isn't spreading himself thin.  He is.  He's all over everything at all times.  But there has to be a happy medium between Dre's approach of spending 6 years on 1 project and Snoop's approach of spending 1 year on 6 projects.

the problem is not wit missionary but wit how snoop is moving in between

dre is not pleased wit snoop dropping random singles every week

it makes an album like missionary far less eventful

he needs to take notes from eminem

Glad to see this album seeing the light of day.  Also, glad to see that Dre is still onboard.  Dre should be at the point in his career where he starts release more music that he likes and not worry about commercial success.

I went to Dr. Dre always thought that he must have so much material at the start, but as he once said, he makes music for himself! Actually, he should put out a compilation with Dre every six months. dre presents

I'm glad this album is finally coming out, so Dre gets this shit out of his system and then focuses on stuff his fanbase actually wants, like Eminem, Snoop, and maybe Xzibit. Once again, I say no one on this forum would give a fuck about this release of Dre's name wasn't attached, because who the hell is Marsha Ambrosius?

They trying and or starting to promo the album. Finally we get to hear the whole project not too many songs but production wise it should be top notch

I agree he is more concerned with his legacy than having fun making music to stay relevant.  If waiting forever to release music at this point meant to make people purchase then by that standard The Contract would have sold or even had a impact no one knows it’s there let alone Compton the promo for that was dope as fuck, the planes with the Compton clouds spelled out over LA you could see it everywhere that weekend

In my opinion - yes. She is ok on the hooks but nothing more than that.
