The mixing is a lot better on this one that everyone was complaining about on the original version, I'd say thats the reason for the re-release.

sometimes when the distributor uploads to spotify the tracks get squashed when it’s not mastered at 44.1/16


so they mighta had it re-mastered specifically for spotify when they saw everyone complaining


i expect the cd version to sound best
