I don't want Cube to make "current" music...i want his music to sound classic and 'outdated' as you said.  He isn't going to attract the younger fans of that garbage mumble rap, so why even try?  Make a banging album that will appeal to his fanbase who's been down since the 90's.  That's the album we want.

We want him to sound like Ice Cube and this is what his fans want to hear though. Reminder of when a lot of classic R&B/Soul/Blues artists started doing "Disco" versions of their songs in the late 70s and it was all bad.

EA-Ski's production sounds far from outdated, he still has the touch and I'm surprised more west artist don't use is production more.

ea ski is a legend, i like his music in 90s.

when i say ice cube shouldnt do songs like this, i dont mean he should do trap, autotune or some other current shit.

why do you think eminem started to works with different producers like boi da 1, mike will made it, da got that dope, emile haynie, rick rubin, alex da kid and etc. he doesnt want to sound outdated, he is trying to find new generation's taste of music and mix it with his own flavor.

the last record i think that cube succeeded it was "good cop bad cop".

ea ski is a producer who couldnt develope himself. if i name a relevant producer "outdated" it would be ea ski.

when it comes to battlecat and snoop dogg. im a special fan of this 2 legends.

i dont think cube and ea ski has that kind of chemistry.

ice cube should find something new and impressive for 2024 and he also should put his own flavor to it.

I get what you're saying, be more diverse in producer selection.  But i think the latest LL COOL J and NAS albums show, people are wanting less producers on an album for a more cohesive sound.  I don't want an Ice Cube album with 10 different producers on it.  2 or 3 would be best.

I also don't want Cube to find "this generations taste in music mixed with his own flavor" like you suggested.  Again, that's selling out to the masses who will never make his music hit mainstream again.  Make music that sounds like your old stuff.  That's truly what we want.

that is not what i want. sure i like to hear some old vibes but i want a good one, mixed mastered properly for this century and i need to sense that it was made to make me feel the old vibes that i miss. but i dont want to sense thats what he is capable of and what is only able to do.

as long as he can keep the same vibe and energy which means smth "common" overall, i support him to work with different producers. some artists are able to do that. for example kendrick. for example eminem. for example jay-z.

let's see what ice cube will bring to us. i'm a fan as yours.

I've only recently started enjoying the vicarious dickride listening to artists spit Gangsta shit while I do something mundane like grocery shopping or mopping the floors

If Cube is going to use low budget beats/producers, this will be another pass for me. There are several producers out there that he can tap into but chooses these beats that sound like they were made out of a bathroom.
