Really unfortunate what's happened to him and his career. It's not interesting enough, but I wish someone would ask Dre about him.

He seemed to have a lot of faith in him.

Agreed. Dope rapper + hook singer. 2001, The Wash, the EP, even The Way I Am.. such bright early career moments.

Knoc seems like one of those dudes that a dark cloud just follows him.  There's a lot of talented people with this kind of a problem, and often it stems from a drinking or drug problem, I think I saw somewhere else that Knoc had a drinking problem.  They had a nice little team and sound going there for a minute, if they could have really kept them cats together like Knoc and 6'2" and DOC writing for them, and the kind of production team that was around them—too bad we didn't really get anything official other than of course Dre's album, one then one little Knocturnal EP to show for it.

The EP was pretty dope, "Night and Day" is still my jam, that shit bumps and great song to cruise to on a sunny day.

I remember when his project leaked, shortly after 2001... he was the next guy! so many dope songs. Night and day, its all on you, Knoc's landin', cash sniffin noses, i used to love her, what they say, When It All Comes Down to It, let shit go, Only If It's Gangsta, When shit goes, Only If It's Gangsta, what they said, lets all roll, if i could.... a Classic album!
It was a disappointment when his EP was released. because I wanted the complete album.

Agree, feels like a dark cloud followed him. He had really bad luck with the debut album leaking & then the mess at Elektra when his debut album finally dropped.

Don't forget The Way I Am album.

Knoc's Landin' was set up to be a legitimate classic album. It's too bad the only leaked versions you can find out there have that audio tag on them.

Yo bro I Would love that hook up!!

But on topic… it was a unfortunate I am retail store manager and he used to cash his royalty checks (small ones from publishing the whole store knew him, but he was more famous for being drunk and stealing whole shopping carts of shit than having Dr Dre signed checks to cash)

I seen him a few times and it sucked cuz I’m low key a huge fan and had to keep my game face in for work. He was a shoplifting drunk and I was a fuckin fan of his writing his songs and flow … shit was bad to see …
