icecubeI’ve seen it with my own eyes. This narrative is dead in the water
teddyriley1 2 dRespectfully, I’ve seen him play piano, and also program on a drum machine. Doctor DRE is definitely a doctor in studio. I’ve also seen him run more than one session at the same time like myself. 👑👑
warreng 2 dThats my sensei
9thwonder 1 dWe live in a world where people will argue with Royce, Teddy Riley, Jazzy Pha, Warren G, Punch, Ross, Focus, Scarface, Tmbo, and an ORIGINAL Member of NWA in Ice Cube…just to get a response, not to actually learn, but JUST to get a response ….. it’s amazing. Welcome to The Internet. lol
djscratch 1 dI’ve watched him play the Fender Rhodes, watched him make beats on the MPC-3000 & watched him mix a song without an engineer.
scottstorchofficial 1 dDr Dre is the illest to ever do it on the mp pushes the envelop on the pads creating some of the craziest beat patterns. As well he dials in on swing and quantizing like nobody. Thats why u subliminally feel something different from his music He privileged me to collaborate with him for many years. But he is fully capable of playing keys as well. But from a creative standpoint collaborating always makes for great music.
focus3dots 2 dYes! And I have over 24 years of working with him as my credential(s). Can't throw shade then say 'no shade'. What's the point of this post anyway???
royceda59 2 dI’ve seen with my own eye 👀 Plz put some respect on the 🐐 name 🙏🏿🫡
timbaland 1 dI seen it hands down
jazzepha 2 dI have seen it & i actually think 💭 i might have some pics from a session w Truth Hurts tapping the MPC 3000… also playing keys… 🎹 he was more of a master mind & conductor but he definitely all star 💫 in that lab jack
tonyadawiz 1 dI saw him firsthand in the studio Audio Achievements 87, 88, and 89 produce classics from the SP1200. I was there, and he taught me how to use the SP1200 drum machine.
brothermob 2 dBeen in with Dre and yea I seen him play the piano, tap on the drum pads, coach vocal takes, and lead the session musicians.. that’s the first time I ever seen multiple MPC’s daisy chained and I may have some old footage, the nigga is a real deal, a producer not just a dude with a beat tape letting you pick beats, here’s a question for everybody, how many artists has he put his hands on? And how successful did they become? I’ll rest my case right there… the nigga mean!
richforever (Rick Ross) 2 dI watched him produce the entire track on my #Mastermind lp.
thesamplelounge 1 dMan you got a response from all the big hitters who have witnessed It themselves. Case closed lol
