ALL-STAR GAME 2001 - THOUGHTS & OPINIONS?
« on: July 11, 2001, 08:14:32 AM »
A few may know that I'm a fan of baseball, and ESPECIALLY a big fan of Cal Ripken Jr; who hit a home run in his first at bat which was his finall all-star game.  Cal said goodbye to the FIRST PITCH HE SAW, LOL.  I was buggin when he slapped that pitch over the left-center fence...for real, that was dope.  Rip then topped it off with getting the MVP award.

So, where the baseball fans @?  So Much Style wassup!

Yea, that Lasorda shit was funny.  Magglio Ordonez of the White Sox hit one back-to-back with Jeter.

I never knew that old guy could roll like that. Tommy Lasorda should think about getting into the circus.

It would of been nice to see tony gwynn get an at bat.  That was some funny shit wit bud selig,  when he said ripken was one of only 7 players to have 3000 hits an 400 R.B.I's.  My Mets only had Mike Piazza an Rick Reed ( who was injured)  an our manager Bobby V
