Who Should Lennox Lewis Fight Next??
« on: July 04, 2003, 09:59:40 AM »
Here are the Candidates: Roy Jones Jr., Kirk Johnson, IBF Champion Chris Byrd (not likely though), a rematch with V. Klitschko, or W. Klitscho.

There are only two candidates:

Vitali Klitschko rematch and Roy Jones.

Ideally, if he's got 2 matches left he would beat the Ukranian and then end his career defeating Roy Jones.

If he only has one match left he should go straight to Roy Jones, and retire as one of the greatest that ever lived.

Here's wht Lewis had to say in regards to some of those fights and his possible retirement.

On the Klitchko fight..."he was lucky the ref stopped it, he was about to lose an eye."
On a rematch..."I don't think his face can hold up...maybe I'll fight the Vladimir. One brother for breakfast and one for lunch."
On facing Roy Jones' Jr..."I agree, pound for pound, he may be the best in the world. But I have 50 pounds on him and I don't think his speed can overcome that advantage. The public wants to see it...I want to see it too."
On when he will hang it up..."I've been searching for an answer for this. I see other old fighters going on too long and damaging themselves. I'm still searching for what the sign will be for me."

Nice for you to call Lennox Lewis a bitch but if you came face to face with Lewis, you would be kissing Lewis' ass and telling him that he would destory Klitchko in a rematch. Wouldn't you?

Also, this stuff America have about Lewis being cocky.

How many boxers aren't cocky?

Muhammad Ali? lol

If you're a boxing and you're not cocky then that means you're not confident, so that means the guy you're going against has an even better chance to beat you.

yea, Vitali Klitschko rematch should be first.

Roy Jones fight would be a money maker, but dunno about the fight itself.

MnMs, Lennox used a little trick called rope a dope on Vitali. Vitali fell for it. He deserved to leave with a busted eye. Don't let your nationality blind you.

He should definatly do a rematch with Klitschko because thats the priority right now seeing Klitschko fucked him up in the first fight.  Then Lewis should close out his career by fighting Roy Jones Jr.

Anyone can see Lewis losing in a rematch? Yeah and I'm dating Jennifer Garner. So for most of the top boxing experts have said that Lewis should win the rematch if he keeps his weight down.
