i mean seriouly,the guys have like 50 pounds of protective gear on. an a "play" lasts all of 5 seconds while a time out is like 30 seconds long an usually is along the lines of :"give me the ball an i'll pass it to the open guy"
then the pass doesn't work an another time out happens "OK that didn't work....this time give me the ball an i'll run with it"

personally i think rugby is WAY better an actually needs guts to play ,cause u don't have armor protecting  every millimeter of ur body.

they are far bigger, and far faster then rugby players. They take far more blindside hitz then them, and do u understand...that if they have pads on, theres a reason for it? If they didnt have pads, with the size and speed of these guys...there would be at least one paralyzed player per game, guarenteed.

As for the length of the playz, football...unlike rugby...has a high amount of strategy involved. If u see the playbookz used by the average offense on a NFL team, its like a foot thick. And everyone has to memorize the book.

To me, when i see Rugby on tv...it just looks like a bunch of mindless idiots running around aimlessly, bumping into eachother. Its a game that kids play out here when their about 8-10 yrs old lol.

which is why football players wear padding because in the early part of the last century so many fatalities were happening, even now alot of players are cripples after 10 years or so in the league.  They live with pain everyday for playing such a brutal sport.

Also the fact is there are monsters but not only that but they are great athletes, who run faster than a 300+ pound person should humanly possibly be able to.
