timbaland said on 106 & park today "me and jay hooked up a couple days ago and we gon' try to do another big pimpin"....now of course that doesnt mean its a big pimpin 2...but if its gonna be another track like that on the black album...he definetely wont be bringing it back to the roots.

Fuck going back to the roots, that shit never works..

All I want is a dope ass album, that I can bump for months/years..
If he can make a album as classy as Blueprint, and cut out the weak (read: slower) tracks with dope ones.. it will be another classic on his C.V.

I fear that Trackmasters, Neptunes will make the album sound to poppy though.. time will show.

im not too worried about trackmasters...they could make it dope...they could fuck it up...neptunes im very worried about...i'd be happy if it was a track like frontin'...but i think even that would get old. the one i am really worried about is swizz beats....not to make it poppy or anything...but swizz doesnt make dope beats any more...rarely does he get one right anymore...hopefully he'll prove me wrong...he's done well for jigga in the past (jigga my nigga)

Shit. I keep forgetting he's doing a track. I agree with you - he rarely brings heat these days.

As for Timberland, forget Big Pimpin', I want Lobster & Scrimp 2 - that was Jay and Timbo's dopest collaboration IMO.
