Playstation Magazine Reviewed Both Games... Read!

Madden 2003: 9/10 This is the deepest football game ever made, bar none. While its not quite as good looking or controling as nfl 2k3, its bevy of game modes and extras make it the best overall gridiron game.

Online Play: a few tiny lag issues during field goals and kick offs, other than taht it is as good as playing someone in the same room

Complaints: The commentary has greatly improved but still isnt as good as 2K3s. The graphics are no longer better than 2K3s. the presentation could be much better and more like tv. control schemes that change when you switch from offense to defense need to be rethought (madden vets will be comfy but newbs will have trouble

NFL 2K3: 9/10 NFL 2K3 looks better, sounds much better, and plays better than Madden, but it doesn't have the same depth and replay factor. Football fans should definitely check it out!

Online Play: Just as seamless as playing a friend in ur living room

Complaints: no on-field defensive play diagrams befor a snap, no solid training mode, lacks some of the other cool extras that make madden so deep. but, that doesnt mean that nfl 2k3 isnt the best playing football game youll find today- it just means it isn't the deepest.

the two reviews confuse me. they make it sound as if nfl 2k3 is much better, but then they say that madden is the better of the two games. i thought for sure i would purchase madden but now i am undecided. (dude from ign.com board)

After that review, Madden is definetly the game I'm going to buy. I love statistics and a very in depth game, something EA has utilized in almost all it's games... EA is awesomee when it comes to stats, plus, I have NCAA 2003, so I'll be able to import my graduated players in Madden as rookies... and that's an awesome feature! I'm very glad NFL2K3 fans won't be dissapointed.

Damn does sound confusing! Im a Madden fan for sure........so im gonna go with Madden........but ill check out nfl2k3 too (rent it to see if its worthing getting it too)

i can't stand NFL2k2's controls... drive me nuts.... its all on opinion... and call me stupid, but I hate how the players run in NFL 2k2, look like they got a brick up their ass, but it's all good, because no matter what game you buy, your going to love it...i'm sticking with madden

its not like madden is a shitty game tho, cuz its still a great game. a lot of it proberly has 2 do wit loyalty towards tha madden fanchise cuz they never disapoint
