in Madden's case though, its not about EA... it's about a game that simulates football the best on field and off field

well, the only  reason other games seem to be worth your money year after year is because they've never been to Madden's level... so they do extensive upgrades to catchup... next year, I don't think we'll see major upgrades from Madden and NFL 2k2... basically because, they're doing what they can... they can't simulate every aspect of real football... the systems aren't that powerful yet..

i think ea should try to build their games from the ground up for all systems(basically just xbox and gc) instead of just putting out lazy ps2 ports,i dont think people with xbox and gc are goin to pay their money for a ps2 gameon a more powerful system, this is what sega is doing this year, theyre building their games for all separate systems,if ea would do that it would make their games much better

EA Sports takes the conservative approach, i mean they arent going to fix it if it isnt broken, i mean i cant blame them for thinking, practically the same game makes us countless millions of dollars per year, why make sweeping changes that might fuck up the cashflow... Its fucked up, but id do the same thing

and im still buying live and madden
call me a sucker
