Ice Cube - Street Fighter
« on: August 17, 2003, 05:49:19 AM »
is it just me or is this track dope as fuck? its gotta be from the 92-93 era judging by the way he raps. anyone know who produced it? sounds like a Cube beat

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

Prod by The 88x Unit For Gaphun Ent.  Feats Scratchs by DJ Crazy Toones.  Wonder what happened to 88X.. they did alot of work for Cube back then..

Thanks for the offer homie, but I tried that IRC shit before. Didn't work out too well for me. I can live without it.
