Soul Calibur 2 = One of the greatest games ever

Picked this up for the GameCube two days ago. Much better than the first two...it's my favorite fighting game, with VF4E & SSBM right behind it. Anybody here got it yet?

Yeah I got mine early too, since I reserved it. It's pretty tough to beat, but we unlocked everything.

depends what special console only character you want. I'm gonna get the xbox version in 2 weeks or something, could have got it thursday but for some reason I bought a game cube instead This game is fucking dope though, a friend bought it for his xbox so he came over here and played it right after he bought it and it owns. Cassandra or whatever can be really cheap if you play against someone cause you just keep jabbing them or someshit with her sword and they can't do shit. Spawn is pretty cool too, rather have him then link and that other guy on the ps2 version. The worst thing though is there aren't CG ending movies or game engine ending movies just text and a couple of images.

Like in Soul Calibur 1 (for Dreamcast, that is). Well, I'd prefer some DoA style movies but it's all about the gameplay.

Yesterday I went to a local video game store and I decided to buy Soul Calibur 2 and I asked for the XBox version and the two guys that work there said "its so much better in the X Box version than the PS2 one" then he gave all these reasons related to the graphics the gameplay etc....sothese guys must know what they talkin about...lol they can test it out there in the store...so i guess the best version is the X Box

well the ps2 has better gameplay then the xbox version for sure

but the xbox has better sound and graphics then the ps2 version

I heard the xbox version has bad gameplay with the regular controller,but with controller S,it is up with there with the ps2

I was really hoping that tha single player was longer (you can unlock almost everything in one day)

but tha multiplayer is dope as hell
