Well, actually ,it means he hasn't TOTALLY been caught, or struck out, or been walked... if you get on base without walking once in the game, that counts.  So, he can still get caught, or whatever just not every at bat.

Batting Average- .320 basically means he hits 32% percent of the time.

knuckleball- is a type of pitch a few pitchers have
