LL Cool J - Paradise
« on: September 05, 2003, 10:01:52 PM »
is it just me or is this track a fuckin classic? LL's not been on top of his game lately but this track is like  :o comparable to his other love songs i think.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

Yeah, but nothing more than 'alright'. That "Paradise is very nice" shit was too laughable to warrent calling it classic.
