Austin no longer a member of WWE's roster

Stone Cold Steve Austin walks

On March 18, 2002, the day after WrestleMania, without company approval and without notice, Stone Cold Steve Austin walked off the job and failed to appear at WWE’s Raw show in Montreal. Stone Cold Steve Austin was advised by WWE management that this was unprofessional and unacceptable. After a two week hiatus, Austin returned to work.

On Monday, June 10, 2002, Stone Cold Steve Austin again failed to appear for the scheduled Raw event in Atlanta, instead choosing to return home to San Antonio without notice and without company approval.

Although Steve was unhappy with his character’s creative direction, Steve made the personal and unprofessional decision not to report to work to address his concerns.

Therefore, Stone Cold Steve Austin is no longer an active member of WWE’s talent roster.

McMahon is supposedly gonna diss the hell outta Austin on Confidential and he is said to most likely never work in the WWE again.

I haven't cared for him much ever since his neck injury. Then they killed his character when he turned into some kind of singing chickenshit heel.

Yeah, that was a bitch move by Stone Cold, but the whole thing might be a work. I'm really weary of the Confidential show, I think it might just be another vehicle to promote raw and smackdown!.  Since they kissed austin's butt last time to get him to come back, maybe they decided on raw to do the same thing this time.  I dunno.  He came off as an ass on tough enough that time, too, I'll bet he's really full of himself.  A couple guys I worked with at the limo company drove him, and they said he was pretty cool, though, so I dunno.  I think he's just mad that he doesn't have a belt anytime soon.

I never really 'hated' austin, but that What thing got old.  At first, it was hilarious, but I have no idea how they could have killed it, LOL.  It was the "kill a career" gimmick.

The only one who ever did well with it was Hulk, My Brotha, Hogan.

Crowd - "Whut!"

Hogan - "Ya Gonna Do?"

In his first promo back from retirement.  WHOOOOOOOOo That was cool.

Austin is awesome and the WWE needs him back.  He is great at EVERY role he plays.  And yes-the what thing is lame, but it was hilarious when Austin first started doing it, and its not his fault it got so freaking popular.

Ross Report today was all about Austin leaving... seems pretty real.  good riddance, no one's bigger than the company. He was never one of my favorites for refusing to job to guys and put them over, so i'll happily watch younger, more talented wrestlers take his place.

I think the thing is a work. But if not I wounder, 'cause I thought that Austin was getting the belt at SummerSlam, and everything seemed to be going his way. I really question the WWE right now, but McMahon I think is better at starting over and building new charactors, than keeping the established ones happy, and focused. Also, Hogan vs. McMahon soon, I love Angle, but his just a little hurdle to the top of Titan Tower.

It's sad that the WWF casts off the man that made them popular again

::shakes head::

First off--its the WWE--deal with it.

Second off..they didnt cast him off--Austin was unprofessional and left.

I do however hope Austin comes back.
