ITaly hasnt proven shit so far.  

Italy 2
Ecuador 0

Once Italy get their defense set, after they score one or two goals....u cant do nothin about it.  If ecuador played the first half like they played the second...this could have been a tie.

Italy were dominant in this game... offensively they are flawless, I loved Vieri's first goal, a hammering strike from 16 yeards set up by the god Totti... no other team in Italy's group can challenge them for first place, IMO.

Offensively they are flawless, defensively they are flawless

Excluding Penalty shoot outs, they haven't lost a game in the World Cup since Ireland beat them in their first match in USA '94

i will never forget the final 1994 where they lost to brazil... damn Roberto Bagio must've felt TERRIBLE after his shot.. but.. BRAZIL won! and thats always a good thing :D

btw.. the GREATEST PLAYER i've seen (not the legends from the old days) is ROMARIO!!! i cried when he couldnt play 1998... brazil wouldve whooped france's ass with him  :'(
