I looked forward to this match as the 2002 World Cup opening game... I guess I was a bit disappointed with France's performance, they seemed tired and unmotivated in my eyes, they had the more possession of the ball and goal chances though. Zidane's absence hurt the team.

Verdict: Senegal were very lucky to win this match... their goal was a total fluke. :-/

But rest assured that France will qualify.
