Question For The Hieroglyfics Fans
« on: October 19, 2003, 03:20:36 PM »
Yo, I just bought the album "Third Eye Vision" and I am loving it. I was getting tired of all the garbage on BET, MTV, and the radio and decided to give these guys a shot and was shocked at how dope this album is. Can you reccomend some more albums from these guys? I heard they have a new album out.....is it any good? I already have Del's first two solo albums from like 10 years ago.

I don't know which Del albums you own but pick them all up. Also get Deltron 3030 (Del, Dan The Automator & Kid Koala) & you might want to get some Souls Of Mischief + Casual & Pep Love's solos (I haven't picked up them yet though).

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

My name is not Brotha it is Brother. Under Islam, race is unimportant and the only thing that matters is the Brotherhood of all races. I'm sorry you are too ignorant to look past race.
