Jayo Felony is finishing up new album

Jayo Felony who is currently working with producer Damizza under Damizza's Baby Ree label is finishing up recording his latest album The Trenches.  The first single  "Show Me Love",  an upbeat track produced by Damizza, is getting airplay on various radio stations. Baby Ree Records also home of Shade Sheist, is currently in negotiations with J Records, Def Jam, and TVT Records for distribution.

IMO Jayo doesn't fit Damizza and Baby Ree's style...

True, but on the other hand, I'm glad he didn't sign with Def Jam.

Yeah, but this story doesn't include the Jayo -> Shady Records part and a few other tidbits..  ;D

I know Jayo and Paul Rosenberg spoke with each other over the fone at the shoot for Obies new video  so It would be tight if something could be worked out
