Rooney is 18 hes got the world at his feet, hes a major talent, hes gunna be fucking world class lad, maybe at everton maybe not, maybe he will be partners with Anelka or Raul sumday who knows.  He was amazing last year because he was high off confidence and he was knew to them game, this year defenders have been all over him like a rash and hes been a little low in confidence but thats all part of football.  Once he gets that goal scoring touch back he will be a class player.  He may be the new alan sherear of english football but to make a statement like Oh who would you rather have Anelka or ROoney is a dumbass comment mate, and you know it.
