Dutch people: 1) Are ignorant, but by far not as ignorant as Americans. Basically, most people are ignorant. I'm just not one of them, I know that
2) Will cuss you out if you're walking outside and you coincidentally walk against someone; Americans will laugh about it.
But I'd rather live in the US to be honest. I think it's a great country. I'm actually trying to move there in 2 years. First I'm gonna finish college and then I'm gonna try to find a job over there

Quebec is almost like a different country. They mainly keep to themselves.

Royce: When you assume America is like Ricki Lake or Springer, that just shows your ignorance. You have no idea what America is like, you just base your opinion on T.V. shows.

No.When 75% of Americans on TV are stupid, arrogant, selfobsessed etc., Americans have theirselves to blame.. quality-control on junk-TV would have been a nice move to improve the general impression of American intelligence. What else than TV, magazines, newspapers, books & internet can you base your general opinion on, about a country you never been in, huh ??Just look at U.K., they produce a whole lot of TV, but do you find all that garbage/trash shows that U.S. is producing.. ??No, they have a much higher quality control on what they put the "U.K.-produced" stamp on.

i agree that but thats the media doing all that shit...not america. i have no control over whether or not they hire actors to be illiterate hillbillies. and neither does 99% of america...people take the wrong shit into consideration when they look at america.

just the fact that those dumb ass shows like jerry springer have been on tv for awhile shows that americans are dumb. they wouldn't be on tv, if people didn't watch them. So if a show like jerry springer lasts for as long as it has, that means there are a lot of people out there who like it. And you gotta be dumb to like that show, or any show like it.The fact that Britney spears, nsync, (fill in the blank of just about any mainstream artist that sells a lot) sell so many copies also shows how dumb americans are. Have you ever listened to britney spears lyrics? Has she ever had a message in any of her songs? Does she have any song with lyrics that have any meaning?Look how popular all these stupid ass reality tv shows are. So many fuckin people watch these goddamn dumb ass shows. Man I have seen a couple of episodes of them, and they are so stupid. There is like no piont to the shows. Yet dumb ass americans are fascinated by them.
