...I really don't feel like typing out any examples of things that I have learned from it, but I have learned a lot from listening to rap...

Same for me, but the most important aspect I learned is English Especially my vocab' improved much. But as somebody mentioned before, it's difficult to speak proper English in school or something when you're listening to cussin' day in day out

I learned from artists like KRS One, Public Enemy, a young Ice Cube, X-Clan, Ras Kass, Brand Nubian, Intelligent Hoodlum shit like that as far as cultivating a desire to learn black history, after all, knowing your past is knowing you future. Believe it or not, I've learned a lot from listening to DJ Quik as far as females are concerned, how to deal with them, game, being smooth. Tupac's music has taught me to keep my head up despite how tough things are, there's still light at the end of the tunnel.

lol @ that minchia and the whole cussin shit..........u can learn a lot from hiphop, whether u listen to three 6 mafia or talib kweli, from slang to facts about life, the music biz and even philosophical stuff and much more...

yeah for sure leanrt a lot from rap but as someone already said, some rappers teach more than others. Nas, Gangstarr, KRS etc etc teach a lot, luda teaches a sense of humour.... lol and quik's got the smoothness... and warren g you cant forget to question "how late do you have to be before you're absent" lol  

seriously though a lot of rap is strangely positive... teaches the whole fighting survivour mindset like that tech n9ne track from AP 'keepin on'
