Outlawz Are Actually A Dope Group
« on: January 03, 2004, 11:55:53 AM »
Kadafi was hard, Fatal always came with it, Noble is tight as hell, so is Nap. E.D.I. is weak to some, but to me he was always on point. Only one I never cared for was Kastro. But, I've pretty much liked everything Outlawz have done. They get a little too much hate if you ask me. I think if Fatal and Nap went back to make another Outlawz album, that'd be real dope. Get the right production, they could probably do it big.

Yeah I agree with that.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

Although I'm a huge fan of the Lawz', the only ones I'm really feelin' on the lyrical tip were Fatal, Big Syke, and Khadafi.

Never heard fatal's solo, I do like the Outlawz as a group actually, only they've been puttin out a lot of mediocre stuff since Pac's death and rarely seem to live up to their full potential. But there's sum good shit which proves they're actually a tight group

If The Outlawz aren't West Coast, then Xzibit isn't West Coast either.

Outlawz are a tight group.  Just doesnt seem right with only 3 members.  I hate to see that Pac was the only real reason for them being together cuz they could totally create their own sound and come out successful, post-Pac.

Few Of My Favs.
Bout Ours (beats so sick)
Aint Your Average (Great to have in CDQ.  Always loved this song.  The Hi Hats get me on this one)
Jack Move (Yall know about this)
Hennessy And Weed (Piano.. lyrics.. tight)
Breakin The Rules (Hella heart felt)
Thrill Me (New Child, another heart felt track over Nore's Blood Money beat)
Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure..
