Oh c'mon now, man. Who the fuck really cares if they 51% East and 49% West, or viceversa. You made this topic to give them props? So give them props! Outlawz as a group are E.D.I., Kastro and Noble. They all live in Cali, they rep Cali, they work with Cali rappers and producers, their HQ is in Cali, their biggest fanbase is in Cali, they're universally known as "West Coast rappers" (just check the bio is circulating on the net about them, i've quoted it), their leader (2Pac) was probably the rapper who repped the most the West Coast, they were a part of the West vs East coast rivalry (ok, it was against Bad Boy, we all know that, but still..).. isnt it enought to talk about them here? Other than that.. WHO THE FUCK CARES!! For real. It's not a scandal. Point.

Everything was fine until Jome moved this. They're East Coast. You proved nothing to me that makes them West Coast. Every post I make about them will be in Outbound, where it belongs.

its where u rep, not where u live. too $hort lives in the south and chills with every southern rapper, but he still reps the west wholeheartedly. until outlawz stop repping jersey, theyre not exactly west coast rappers. i can see why you would consider them west coast tho

Everyone knows the Lawz are from Jersey, but the fact is that they've been reppin' the West since they were with Pac. If they say things such as "Westcoast 'til I die", and throw up the DUB repeatedly, they obviously rep the West. Just like how Pac is originally from NY but is arguably the biggest Westcoast repper ever. And how X is from Detroit but has repped the Westcoast heavily since the mid-nineties. I still consider the Outlawz a Westcoast rap group.

its not the same with x and pac. pac and x never boasted about being from ny and new mexico.

lets take this into a bigger comparison. cleveland's bone thugs started their careers with a westcoast label, collaborated with many of the west's biggest stars, shouted "WESTSIDE" in numerous songs including the one with WC, made a mix called "cleveland to la", and according to pac were supposed to be on the westcoast squad for the thug nation compilation. but at the same time, they still rep their hometown of cleveland. which is why nobody considers them west coast rappers.

tha alkaholiks, who are also cleveland rappers, basically followed the same route as bone thugs starting his career in la. the difference is, tha liks not once represented cleveland ohio in any of their songs. thats why they are considered cali rappers, whereas bone thugs are not.

same goes for people like tech n9ne. hes thrown up the 'W' in many pics with yukmouth and lynch hung, but still reps kansas city. he basically falls in the same category as bone thugs, outlawz, and hell even roscoe.

The thing you dont wanna admit is that the Lawz has started their musically career repping WC. Just like Kurupt has started his career repping LBC. Just like X has started his career repping L.A., just like Alkaholics started their career repping WC. Just like Pac started his musically career repping Bay Area. Outlawz started their career with Pac. Repping WC. Throwing up Ws (never Es). Show me a single track where they've repped Jersey till Pac died. From 1994 to 1996. There are no tracks, man, where they rep Jersey. They were West Coast rappers, rapping in West Coast style, over West Coast beats, with West Coast rappers. From 1996 to 1999, they still were trapped on Death Row, and they still repped the WC. In 1999, they went indi, and from that moment they started to rep not only WC (some of the pics i showed you are from 1999 to 2003), but also Jersey. World Wide (they have a track called like that!). Thugs from every states, etc.. They say they are from Jersey, they rep Jersey too, but they never stopped throwin up the Ws, and working in L.A. with Cali rappers. Krayzie Mofo Guy have you seen them repping only Jersey and never Ws? Cause if you did, i didnt. Those guys are still throwing up Ws, working in L.A., repping Outlawz worlwide and Pac. You are making it like they Mobb Deep! C'mon now.

Could you honestly compare them to Alkaholics or Xzibit? Are we joking?

Pac never boasted about being from NY?
Oh, and anyway.. what's the real difference between Pac and the Lawz?
Please explain it to me. Cause from 1994 to 1996 the Outlawz and Pac were basically the same thing, repping the same things, doing the same songs, helping each others writing their songs, etc.

So you cant consider Pac WC and the Lawz EC. They were the same thing, from 1994 to 1996. To 1999, i'd say.
And now the Lawz aint repping Jersey MORE than what they're repping WC.

You all are thinking too much about that Jersey MOB mixtape. It was OUTLAWZ ft. Jersey MOB! Not OUTLAWZ aka Jersey MOB! It was organized from HUSSEIN FATAL, who is 100% from Jersey, living in Jersey, repping Jersey, working with Jersey rappers. Who invited the Lawz to make a collaboration Mixtape.

90% of the Lawz fans are from WC/PAC fans. Not EC/Jersey fans. Plus the Lawz DONT rep Jersey in that Mixtape. THEY NEVER DID.

Yes, I am West Coast!

Antonio, never heard "Hit Em Up"?

They repped Jerz there. So, go back to the drawing board.

And to clarify, the Dub does NOT mean West Coast. It means Westside. So, they rep the Westside, not West Coast. Sorry, but it's the truth. Just because someone toss a W up, that does not mean they're claiming to be West Coast, just means they're repping the Westside. The Pacific states are not the Westside, they're the West Coast.
