The Roots two separate times, once at UC Davis, and once at the Fillmore in San Francisco

I saw The Coup, Conscious Daughters, and Souls of Mischief..

I saw Ludacris and the Distrubin tha Peace , at the Fillmore in SF.

the KMEL house of Soul (2nd best show ive been to)..back in march 2003, at the fillmore in SF, once again ..

it was supposed to just be marcous houston, goapele, talib and common in the line up too... but everyone showed up as surprise guest. I think Freeway from the Rocafella camp was  at the show, postin up backstage.

I saw goapele once again near the end of the summer, at the SF fillmore again..

at school, the entire Hieroglyphics came around, with LITTLE BROTHER, and Encore..

None. I was gonna see Heiroglyphics but I had to work.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

Hope to see a lot more in 2004, already got tickets for Pete Rock & CL Smooth in february and there are some dope albums scheduled for release this year so hopefully some of the artists will do UK shows.

Matter of fact, I seen SAS three times this year. They were at Smokeout too. Damn. That's alot for a group without any real albums out(as group that is).
