Rise of Racists in Europe
« on: April 23, 2002, 09:46:12 AM »
What do you think about the recent French presidential election? The racist National Front leader Jean-Marie Le Pen's got the through to the final round of the French presidential election with the second highest amount of votes. 17% of voted for him (4.5 million people) Le Pen will take on Jacques Chirac in the final vote in two weeks' time.

Le Pen is anti immigration, he blames crime on immigrants and he want them to go back their country of origin. In 1987 he described the holocaust as a "detail of history". Le Pen says the French soccer team is not french because there are too many black people in it and said no Algerians deserve to be French.

There is a rise in the extreme right wing political parties elsewhere in Europe. In Holland Pim Fortuyn's party is expected to get 20% of the vote in election, his party says Islam is an inferior culture and wants to stop immigration.

The extreme right also has large support with The Freedom Party in Austria with 30% support. In Denmark the Danish people's party with 18%. Vlaams Blok in Belgium, The Progress Party in Norway, Swiss Peoples party in Switzerland. In Britain the British National Party is gaining support and could win seats in local elections.

Could there be a return to fascism?

its kinda worrying..... but the thing is... what if 'immigrants' had kids over there.... they're 'french' by birth...  ::)

altho i think countries should have tighter immigration policies to stop them becoming crowded, it shouldnt be a race thing.

Luckily He Wont Win...

But I Agree In Some Respects - Facism Will Never Rule Any Country Outright Again And Even If It Did, If It Started Anything Against A European Convention It Would Be Removed Imidiately And Action Taken.

Anyway Fuck Europe As A Collective

We Should All Stay Independent And Each Country Worry About Its Own Area And People

The Day Britain Signs Over To The European Single Currency And Any Of Our Power To Make Outright Decisions Is The Day We Die - Believe That - Because I Guarrantee That At Some Point In The Future It WILL Start A War

As You Can See Im Pationate About This - Dont Get Me Started  ;)

peace

(BTW This Is In No Way Meant To Agravate Any People Living In Europe Im Just Stating My Opinion On The Facts)

There's absolutely no reason u should stay out of the single currency. It's just going back to your colonial roots where you have to seem to be superior to others. In fact, if you joined the euro ud still have your queen on the back, just like we have the harp

As for the french thing, its really worrying. Over here people are being deported even if they have kids born in Ireland. This is because they had the kids so as they can stay here. I see no problem with immigrants, but I have found a lot of my older relations are very biased, saying they get everything for free etc. But if we let them fucking work in the first place, that wouldnt be a problem. I have a few racist friends, and elieve me, its embaressing as fuck when they say something to someone over race. You just have to give them a smack in the head, and tell them to shut up

Please - Dont Be So Nieve, You Think I Dont Wanna Lose The Pound Just For The Queen!? - Yea I Dont Wanna Lose My Heriatage But Do You Know The FULL Implications Of The ESC Or Just What The Irish Govt. Told You Before Sticking You In It?

Heres A Few :

  • Decision Power Over Intrest, Exchange And Inflation Rates Handed Over To The EU - They Will Then Change It To Suit A Collective - Ie - If Its Good For The Majority - But For One Country It Could be Disastrous
  • The Change Over Of Prices Will Effect The Cost Of Living And Prices Will Fluctuate And Rip You Off Just As Happened During Decimalisation
  • SOME Firms Will Benefit From European Set Exchange Rates Etc But Believe Me, Most Wont It Could Cause Mass Collapse Of Some International Firms, Which Presently Have Their Systems Set Up To Cope With Current European And International Sales With The Varying Exchange Rates.

I Aint Tryin To Argue With Any Of You At All - Im Stating My Opinion On A Really Fucked Up Topic - Believe Me The ESC Will Cause Some Big Problems In Years To Come

The BNP has only gained support in areas with large amounts of racial tension, and then only from a minority. It is a fallacy to say they are gaining support as Le Pen has.

It could happen in Britain in, say, 10 years time, I agree. But only if Blair remains in power. If IDS gets voted in with his party, we will have a party that stands for something.

The only hope for the Labour Party long term is if Brown takes over as leader. He had effectively dealt the death blow to Blairism and Blue "New" Labour with his Budget.

Onto Europe...I have now got George McDonald Fraser's book, and I support him 100%.

The Europeans have been Britain's constant enemy over the years; they hate us. They are not our people, and we have fought two wars to save their asses and to survive their dodgy politics. These people have nothing in common with us; they are a hotbed of extremism and racism, a snobbish land where Germany has now achieved what they tried twice before...Without war.

Britain is fine now, will be fine for a long time. If there is to be any form of Union, let it be with the US and Canada, and let us return to our place as the leaders of the Commonwealth... THESE are our people, THESE are our comrades and brothers. I may be a Socialist, but I am also a patriot to all my blood, and if Britain falls to the Holy Brussels Empire, I will move to Canada...I will NOT stand back and accept that all we have fought for over 400 years means nothing next to the power-hungry musings of Jacques Chirac, Gerhard Schroeder and others. Silvio Berlusconi caved in under pressure, and he is the strongest of the anti-Euro leaders...Only Denmark, the home of my maternal grandmother, has fought on.

This is a treachery to our heritage, a treachery to what we have fought for. British people, do you want to share a currency with Neo-Fascists who do not speak English, do not share our customs, and despise us? I, for one, do not.

WTF?  Come on that's a bit harsh don't you think?  I'm not saying we should jump straight into the currency because (as Rud pointed out) there's a lot of potential problems with it.  The only reason you regard US and Canada as so close is because they speak English.  Where the fuck was America in 1939? 1940? 1941? 1942? 1943? We had to wait till they got attacked themselves before they helped us out.

"Do you want to share a currency with neo - fascists"

Massive generalisation - If Chiraq doesn't win by at least 70 - 30 I'll be surprised.  The BNP will do well again in the next elections, then do you want other countries calling everyone who lives here neo - fascists?

WTF does IDS stand for?
(not his name I mean his policies)

Besides, a closer relationship with Europe means we can go to Amsterdam more, and smoke weed everyday!

IDS, when he's not being puppeteered by Oliver Letthemin, is a Conservative of the Churchill school. He rabidly opposes the Heathian policies of integration, and supports the munilist ideas Thatcher brought in.

"Where were the Americans in blah blah"

a) I doubt the Europeans would have helped us. We had our Commonwealth, and about 100 Polish, 20 Belgians, and a single drunken Frog called De Gaulle, and we, and our Russian comrades, beat the flying shit out of Italy and Germany.

b) They have a common heritage with us. I defy you to attempt to deny Canada has stood by us on everything, even when it had Frog-Canuck PMs. Even at Suez, they hung with us out of loyalty. The French hungs with us out of greed for their shares.
