One God
« on: April 12, 2002, 01:58:57 PM »
I just want to say somthing, I find it strange that people alwasy ask for the 'differences' between two or more religions, why not find out what they have in common.

I believe that every few thousands years, depends on the situation and when it is neccesary. God, Allah, whatever you call him, sends a prophet, to teach us, new laws, and new importat life lessons. Why>? Because if we stick to them we will find what everyone wants to find, not money, but happyness, a feeling of love. I believe that a prophet is like a teacher, and we go from grade to grade.

Not every teacher is the same, but they come from the same God, with an updated message. To continue where the last one left off. Not to compete with another prophet. I also believe that even if you claim to be "christian"or "muslim" you don't know wether you are, I think God decides wether you are a true "christian" or "muslim", Otherwise it would be rather easy, like 'well I am a muslim, I don't obey no laws and shit, but atleast I wil die a muslim'. No, I think if you choose a religion, any religion. It is a way of living.

We can never Understand God, Thats why we people wil always doubt him, Thats the struggle you have to fight. If it was certain ( scientific ) that heaven existed and God too. Then It would make every thing much easier. I think life is like a test, youre put to the test, wil you believe in god, if so, wil you recognize him, if so will you follow him. If so wil you trust him?

Anyway I am drifting off, I just wanted to say, that i believe that every prophet is like a teacher, coming from the same God. and we should not seek our differences but our similarities.

peace ONE

One more thing, I am also against 'religious leaders"

I think they are doin the opposite of what God desires, they place themselves above "the followers" as if their interpretation was better than others, and here by sekts emerge, and sekts are the oposite of Unity.
Doesn't God want us to unite instead of dividing into groups.

I think everyone should read theyre holy book for themselves, and take theyre own word, ofcourse speaking about it right, but I think a religious "leader" is rediculous.

I agree with ya that there's only 1 god, and also that you should live your religion, not just claim it.  Peace~
