Hey y'all. Just giving real Christians/Mormons here somewhere to chill out, like Infinite doin over in his Muslim newsletter.

Reading:

Matthew 5:1-12

"Now, when he saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him, and he began to teach them, saying:

Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven,
Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted,
Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the Earth,
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be filled,
Blessed are the merciful, for they shall be shown mercy,
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God,
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God,
Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven.

Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward is Heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you."

Sermon:

In relation to the above words, let us just clarify the line on the meek. Those who were not courageous enough to risk their lives but still loved God, they shall have the perfect Earth at Judgement Day. The "pure in heart" shall see God, and contact him, but they shall reside upon earth too. The poor but righteous, and those that have been chosen, shall be given Heaven to reside in, to live with God and His angels. The merciful, despite their sins, shall be judged according to their mercy-"Do not judge, lest you be judged by the same measure." We must be merciful to be good Christians; not so we may be judged that way, but because we must love our fellow man to realize our potential.

Psalm 150:

Praise the Lord.

Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens.
Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness.
Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet; praise him with the harp and lyre, praise him with the tambourine and dancing, praise him with the strings and flute, praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals!

Let everything that has breath, praise the Lord.

I like the scripture, how the poor and righteous will inherit the earth and the heavens, there is alot to be said about the poor and righteous, those that sacrifice material gain in place of spiritual gain, and their spiritual gain can never be taken away from them.

BTW, today's Wednesday. Alot of peeps out there got youth group tonight. I know I do.  Anyway, be shure yall go and show suport of your church.  The Bible says that we grow when we fellowship with our brothers and sisters in the lord.

Man, on ANY level, In my opinion, not many compare to Jesus for just being straight up REAL.  Even if he wasn't the son of god, and you don't believe... by reading those words, that's the most god-like thing someone could possibly say.

I know, personally, i'm not man enough to make up something like that, it'd take william shakespeare to speak as beautifully as Jesus did, allthrougout the bible.  He literally can make you cry, just reading his stuff, it's so beautiful.  That's what I always get out of Jesus's teachings.
