Happens to me all the time. I even find myself sometimes asking the person to repeat themselves...but before they start, I realize that the reason I hadn't taken it in yet was because I was repeating it in my head. Kinda weird, but it shows what a habit it is for me now.

Well I mean, like INSTANTLY, you repeat it... I think that's how we comprehend and listen, when you're paying attention, your mind is repeating everything you hear, in your head.
