the very nature of terrorism is to terrorise ppl and blowing something up will do that and its not self inflicted in the way alcahol related deaths are, thus u have come up with another bad comparisant. unlawfal deaths should not go unpunished which is why domestic murders are persued by the police and acts of terrorism by foreignors are pursude by our armed forces.

also your figures take no account of the terrorist actions stopped as a result on the war on terrorism and our security services alot of which is not put into the public domain

iraq would just get annexed by iran

That would be a great solution.  If Iran and the majority of Iraqi's are pleased with it, then why shouldn't they do it?

so when a child is killed by a drunk driver that's self inflicted by the child. alcohol related deaths are often not only the one that has been drinking. people drive knowing they are drunk are responsbile as for a death as a terrorist.

i agree terrorists should be brought to justice however when a police officer shoots an innocent while trying to stop a murder get in a shit load of trouble. the army drops bombs on civilians while they are trying to stop terrorism and it's called "colletral damage"

u gotta face that bush and the media has blown terrorism out of proportion for his own political means, it is a problem but the paranoia they promote is not justified.
