Nas - Poppa Was A Player

damn good song off Lost Tapes, plus it was Kanye's first major ghost-production (for D-Dot)

Warren G - Ola Mae (My Momma)

Ky-Mani - Dear Dad ( not hiphop but give it a listen, it's very emotional and sincere, sure comes from the heart )

And if you're into other music aside from urban, try Sting's "Island of souls"... it's very weird, strange and melancolic. It tells the story of a no-future boy that is living how his father is gonna die and only wishes they both could sail away. Sting wrote that when he lost his father and it's very sad.
