Does this guy have talent? (R&B Singer)

This is a friend of my brother's and he recorded it at my brother place just for a try out and I kind of think he might have talent with such a voice but I'm unsure so I want to hear your opinions.

hmm it aint bad, but that beat doesnt suit him. or it was the mixing part. somethin didnt seem right. but he can sing tho.

i wasn't really feeling his performance... seems like he's kinda holding back his voice, he needs to loosen up.

He has potential... Wasn't really feelling it but he's def. above average.
