It's a program that lets you download music/movies/software/etc. from other users on the net, via a little program called "Bit torrent", which uses a code system to authenticate files, each file is given a "torrent number" so you know what to look for.
You can download bits of the file from each user to make it fast, and when downloaded the bits are put together to one file.

Find what you want click the link, and then bittorrent automatically opens and asks you where do you want to put the file on your computer. then you select a folder and then it starts download.

you have to upload to download....but i think theres a bt client that lets you block uploading.

Seeds is when youve completed downloading and your only uploading.
Leech is when your still downloading.
